SOLAR TRADE is a mobile app prototype designed to help users manage and optimize their solar panel systems. The app lets users monitor energy production and consumption in real time, perform automated repairs through embedded robots, and sell excess energy back to the grid, including international markets.

This project was developed to explore user-centered design, with a strong focus on usability and interface quality. A complete functional prototype was built in Figma.
Usability Test #
To evaluate the implementation, we conducted usability tests with Maze, followed by a short post-test satisfaction survey. This provided detailed metrics, including click rates, error rates, and task completion rates. The survey results were positive, with strong ratings for aesthetics, intuitiveness, and perceived usefulness. Although users viewed the app as innovative, the results also suggested room to improve its perceived uniqueness. Overall, the feedback confirmed a strong foundation for future development and increased our confidence in the product’s potential.
